In the realm of
"traditional medicine" if you get something wrong with you,
you call and make an appointment with your MD. You walk into MD's office and you pour out all your symptoms. He writes all this down in your chart. Depending on what's wrong, he may give you a piece of paper (a prescription) and tell you to take it to your pharmacy. He may also take some tests of the area not functioning correctly before writing you a Rx. But generally speaking, you are given two options:
DRUGS
or SURGERY. Besides side affects, what the
drugs and/or surgery is doing is simply putting a band-aid on the symptom. In more cases than not,
your symptoms have always been "fixed" by covering up the problem.
(The
medical industry came out with a term several years ago for
what happens when you do what MD says but seem to end up in
worse shape... Iatrogenises.
Learn more about this here.
We would like to point out that there is a place for MDs but
we believe if you really want to get well, in most cases, MD
won't be able to help.)
So after visiting MD, what have you just accomplished? Do you feel better?
Let's talk for just a moment.
As you are reading this your organs and tissues are regenerating.
(They should be. If they're not, SOMETHING IS
WRONG!)
For example, your liver regenerates every
6 weeks Okay, so if this is true, why is it
MD says anyone
would need a new liver?
Your body was designed to heal itself from the inside.
If the atlas or axis (C1/C2) bones in your neck are not properly aligned, this natural process won't happen correctly, therefore "Degeneration" takes place.
Let's say that you get headaches all the time and your MD says to take a prescription of Tylenol with codeine.
Do you have headaches because your body is low on either one of those drugs? NO! How Absurd!! Do you have cancer because you are lacking Chemo?
Now you say
"Your are just being ridiculous!" Do you realize how crazy this is?
How do you know that your body isn't growing cancer cells as we speak? "I just came back from the my MD and got a clean bill of health." Is that what he said? How do you know?
How
does he know? Did he check for nerve interference? Did
he check you to see if you have Body Imbalance?
I seriously doubt it!
Usually when someone finds out they have cancer, a lot of times the
MD will say "we found it just in time." No, they didn't! If they found it in time,
why is
it he just now suggesting surgery to remove it or Chemo to treat it?
If something would have been done to prevent it, he wouldn't have found
it at all. It may take up to 10 years before cancer is detected!
So what are we going to do differently than an MD?
We
are going to get to the cause of what is making you hurt or
not feel well, and correct the problem at source so your
body can heal itself like it was designed to.
Isn't this Upper Cervical stuff like Chiropractic?
First let's put the myth to sleep that Upper Cervical Doctors and Chiropractors are the same.
They are not! Generally speaking, in the field of chiropractic, you come in, you get some type of adjustment, and you walk out.
As soon as you walk out the door, unless they allow your body rest for a minimum of 30 minutes, you have already lost the
adjustment not to mention they weren't trained to
give you a very specific
correction where your body can benefit from it the most...
the
upper cervical spine. Is it any wonder they want to give you an adjustment
every time you walk through their doors?
Upper Cervical Care is different.
On your first visit you will
receive a specific test to check for nerve interference
at YOUR
upper cervical spine. Secondly,
the Upper Cervical doctor will take
very specific X-rays of YOUR
upper cervical area. These
will show the Upper Cervical doctor very specifically how
the bones in YOUR
neck are misaligned so he/she can map out a very specific
plan of heath just for YOU!
(Every person's upper cervical spine is as unique as
their fingerprints.) This will tell the Upper Cervical Doctor very specifically exactly how far out of alignment
YOUR
upper cervical vertebrae are. Based on the results, YOU
will be given a very specific correction and then YOU
will be allowed to rest for a period of time. This time differs from one Upper Cervical doctor to another but the usual resting times will be anywhere from 30-90 minutes.
Now what?
Now we let your body do what your body was designed to do.
Heal itself!
So what about my symptoms? Your symptoms will soon
disappear! Soon you'll be asking yourself "Why am I taking these pills?"
An Upper Cervical Doctor,
won't give you medicine
and we won't take you off of medicine. That would be practicing
medicine. We are not in the field of medicine so we don't practice it.
(By the way, MD's are "practicing".)
So
what are symptoms anyway and
""Where did
all mine
go?"
A symptom is your body's way of telling you something isn't working properly. When that Atlas/Axis
(C1/C2) bones are out of alignment. We covered that. When
these bones are not properly aligned, your brain cannot effectively communicate with the parts of your body that are being pinched or stretched, depending on the misalignment. (This also explains when you get a pain, it's usually only one side of your
body.) So if you correct the problem at the root, the symptom(s) will disappear
too!
Aligned
Misaligned
How soon will my symptoms go away? Every person is different. How long have these bones been misaligned? How far are they out of alignment? These are all determining factors as to how long it would take for you to see the symptoms subside. If you had asthma for the past 2 years, your lungs will heal
faster than someone who has asthma for say 50 years.
