Tonya
was born and raised outside Dayton, OH and knew at a very
early age that she wanted to become a doctor. Upon
completing her undergraduate requirements at the University
of Dayton in 1995, She entered Logan College of
Chiropractic. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in
Human Biology in 1997. The same year, Tonya was introduced
to Upper Cervical Care after being diagnosed with a thyroid
mass and told her only hope was surgery. Not wanting to
undergo surgery, she received Upper Cervical Care and within
six months the mass was gone. Tonya's first hand experience
changed her life and began the Kale certification program in
Spartanburg, SC, under the direction of Dr. Michael Kale. In
December 1998, she graduated from Logan College. In March
1999, Tonya co-opened the Arkansas Upper Cervical Center
with J.R. In 2005, she completed her Advanced and Masters
level Knee Chest Upper Cervical Specific (KCUCS)
certification under the direction of Dr. Robert Kessinger.
Tonya is an instructor with the KCUCS certification program.
She has currently been on two world mission trips: In 2000
she traveled to Costa Rica where she married J.R., and in
2004 to Ghana, Africa. Her goals include writing a book
outlining the fundamentals needed to open an Upper Cervical
office and understand the importance of office management.
We
currently reside in Searcy, Arkansas. We moved here shortly
after opening the Arkansas Upper Cervical Center in March,
1999. We have one son, Carter.
